If you look at the gathering list of entrants for this year’s Rally you may notice that Our Boys is amongst those coming. She is very much a part of our nautical heritage and registered on the list of National Historic Ships. Built in 1904 in East Looe where she was registered as FY 201 she was used for drift net fishing for pilchards and mackerel for 74 years. In the 1960s she was one of only five motorised former luggers still working from Looe. She has since been converted back to her original rig and makes a fine spectacle which is not to be missed.
